Global South Quarterly: An International Journal of Literature, Language and Culture is a double blind peer-reviewed academic journal committed to publishing high-quality, original research in humanities with a sustained focus on the Global South and its transnational connections. The journal offers an interdisciplinary platform for scholars working across literature, language, and cultural studies. The journal follows a rigorous peer-review process in accordance with international standards.

Dual-Mode Submission

Submission & Management Process

Authors may submit their original manuscripts through either of the following channels:

  • Email Submission: A soft copy of the anonymous manuscript, accompanied by a formal cover letter and a signed copyright form, should be sent directly to the Editor at globalsouthquarterly@gmail.com.
  • Online Submission: For a streamlined experience, authors may also use our integrated Online Submission Portal located on the journal’s official website to upload their documents and track their status.

Key Dates & Policies:

  • Plagiarism Standards: The journal maintains a strict similarity threshold. Only manuscripts with a similarity index below 10%, verified by standard detection software, will be considered for peer review.
  • Inaugural Issue: April 2026 (Forthcoming)
  • Last Date for Manuscript Submission: 20th March 2026
  • No APC required for this issue
